How to clean fuel level sender boards

Problem with the cables/connectors? Or the stepper motor of the cluster? I once had a bad cable to my radio (other car, drop out at potholes) which was impossible to find, only a new cable solved it.

Did you open the SJB? I had water issue and found a lot of corrosion on the SJB board (I got brake light problems) after cleaning it was gone.

Where does extra sound insulation make the most difference?

It was sealed with some 1'' thick very hard sealer, looked like urethan. Left it inside, but sprayed underneath with fluid film, fingers crossed..... no test drive so far, fuel is 8$/gal now, driving around for fun is no fun anymore, thanks to the new carbon tax.

Where does extra sound insulation make the most difference?

Do you had to remove the complete weather plastic shield to get to the door?

Where does extra sound insulation make the most difference?

Will do. I have seen them, they are glued (?) to the bottom, so just pull them up? The condensed water can be a problem, I agree, that's why some say not to use alubutyl on the outside panels, instead use this bitumen/plastic stuff which is glued with heat, OEM style. This area is a huge open...

Where does extra sound insulation make the most difference?

Quick tip: I just wanted to fill up the space between the rear wheel well and the b-pillar with polyester wool through the seat belt retractor hole and it looks like it is large enough to place some alubutyl stripes on the quarter panel inside. And you need around 15+ liters of polyester wool...

Does anybody made a DIY rear undertray/diffuser ?

No mileage compare so far, but I noticed a much smoother ride on the Autobahn with the front undertray. How do these splitter strut rods work? Are they stable in all directions or do they have a weak point? Are they adjustable in length?

Thanks, that was helpful. I made an almost flat front undertray, it also lowered the wind noise.

    Cowl Weatherstrip

When I remember correctly. there is no separate weatherstrip, it is a rubber edge molded in the plastic part. But the price is insane.

Which one to choose, Coilovers or struts?

Sorry I'm German, I try my best in English ;) If your budget allows to buy a fully adjustable coil-over, this would be the best way to build a cornering car. I have combined compression/rebound adjustment and wish to have it independent.

Does anybody made a DIY rear undertray/diffuser ?

I haven't found the dimension of the GT350 part. The needed size is roughly 80x80 cm. The GT350 part is bolted to the bumper on one side and to a bracket to the underbody between the sway bar and the differential. On our cars we must attach a bracket to the spare tire panel. I was not able to...

Hello The GT350 has a undertray plate from the axle to the bumper and covers the carbon canister backpack. I think it would be a nice aerodynamic optimization for the S197, too. Cheers GT350 with aftermarket strakes:

Which one to choose, Coilovers or struts?

These color codes on the OEM springs address the car weight and the front/rear weight distribution with the different variants, with coil overs you can do it left/right too.
