    X-Charger question.

Yeah I really miss the collective too. When I did mine (along with a LOT of supporting mods), I relied heavily on the collective for help and info. And I don't do FB either.

Well thanks for the tip, sounds like your OCD is as bad as mine!

    Bike purchase

If such a thing exists, get a full suspension bike that has the ability to lock out the suspension. The full suspension will sap your strength when riding easy trails that don't require it; you transfer your energy to the suspension instead of the crank. I ride a Cannondale 29er hardtail, and...

Add a Cobalt to the pillar, and move the Aeroforce to a vent pod left of the instrument cluster.

I agree. Mine are Cobalts; they look great!

What have you done to your mustang today?

Cleaned off some fly poop, and patted it on the butt.

    Popular gauges for boosted applications.

Vac/boost and AFR in a SOS dual pillar pod. Soon to add an Aeroforce in a Roush vent pod.

    Oil on spark plug threads??

I would guess it's a very small valve cover gasket leak. Not enough to make a mess, but enough to collect on the spark plug base over time. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

A/C quite working over the winter...

All newer automotive AC systems have a pressure switch, I'm not sure where it is on a Mustang though. Also, check your owner's manual for location of the AC fuses, and make sure they're good. Also check the plug on the compressor and make sure it's connected like it should be.

    I'm stumped.. Need help

What type of pads did you put on? Ceramic pads combined with a slightly warped rotor will sometimes make that sound.

    Oil out Breather

Lol, sorry guys, didn't realize this was a common debate! Works for me, your mileage may vary.
  22. Sarge1400

    Oil out Breather

That is a widely-held belief, with very little actual data to back it up. Yes, oil vapor DOES reduce octane (on paper anyway), but nobody seems to have any actual real-world numbers on whether or not it makes any difference on a street driven car. A lot of guys - myself included - use a catch...

LCA's and or UCA's do we need them on a DD that has been lowered?

Agreed, Whiskey. Was just trying to keep the explanation as simple as possible for the OP.

    Oil out Breather

Agreed, breathers are not the thing to use on a boosted engine.
  25. Sarge1400

LCA's and or UCA's do we need them on a DD that has been lowered?

If you lowered the car, you should change the UCA to an adjustable one, or at least one designed for a lowered car. You need to do this to correct the pinion angle. If you're trying to get AROUND the track in the least possible time, replace the LCAs with some good aftermarket units. If you're...
