Wasn't a stock tune but I ran the same tune with factory exhaust and the off road header set up. Never an issue except for the smog stuff. Engine ran fine for years until I threw a blower on her.
Are those springs shorter than stock? No need for a spring compressor if they are. I hate those things and try not to use them. As far as the coating repair my only suggestion is to try and heat it gently and see if you can mold it back. But that leads me to another question, why? Is it all...
How exactly did you go catless? Have you checked for any exhaust leaks? The smallest of leaks can give our sensors issues.
On a sidenote, I went with headers and an off road H pipe and never had any tune issues or misfires except the smog codes for the rear sensors.
Wow, $600 for a timing set??? I don't remember how much I paid when I did it last time but I know it wasn't anything as eye opening. Just thought I would share my sticker shock. I think I'm going to pull the cover first and see if I can get away with just ordering a couple of components as...
I didn't even have them put sensors in my rear wheels when put them on the car. No, the light on the dash don't bother me because my shit is lit up like a Christmas tree anyways.
Drag brakes don't have enough mass for repeated braking on the street. They are made pretty much to be used once and then cooled down. You can use them on the street but don't expect to see any kind of performance as they will get too hot very quickly.
Due to what I believe was a bad oil filter I may have driven my car a few miles along the freeway with a very low oil pressure. The light never came on but as I rolled up to an intersection I glanced at my pressure gauge it was hovering between 0 and 5 psi. I shut the motor off and coasted into...
Well, I drained the pan and didn’t see anything unusual. Then I noticed the little penzoil oil filter. I always did my own changes and bought a case of K&N a while back. Then I remembered that when the car was on a rack for a tire repair I told them to go ahead and change the oil while it was up...
So call me crazy but I have my reasons. Back story; I've had my Mustang for 15 years now. The other day she lost oil pressure and I shut her off and had her towed home. I don't know how far I drove with basically no oil flowing. I haven't pulled the pan or investigated yet but I was thinking...
Yep, Raxiom is hit or miss. My taillights have been flawless from day one. The finish is starting to wear but that is to be expected out here in the high desert.
