    How do you get it started after it dies? Just wait? Those codes should not cause the engine to comletly shut off. Based on the info so far: heat related, cuts off. Best guess so far, loss of spark. Next time it dies, check for spark.

    1st, what do you mean "pulled tune"? Restored to stock? Stock and no cats should set p0420&p0430 codes. 2nd what speed is it set to idle? If it is truely idling high, that should set some type of idle speed fault. 3rd cat delete tune issue - good luck. Not discussing this subject on a street...

    This code is set because the tune has been altered. 1st step in tuning is to address that code. How can a faulty torque converter cause a high idle? It cannot. Again, Find a tuner who knows what they are doing.

    Dont you just love fixing other ppl's crap? lol On the disabled preloaded tunes, sct can do "canned tunes" or custom tunes. Never both. When loading custom tunes, preloaded ones have to be disabled.

    Ok, Cannot use the v6 pcm in a gt. The bare minimum you need to do is PATS to make the replacement pcm run. VIN needs to be programmed. May need axle ratio/tire size programmed if speedo is off. You need IDS or Forscan and Vlinker USB adapter.

    Battery charged and cranks slow? Fix that first, it should never crank slow. May still have other issues, but slow crank is your priority.

    Good Fuel return system for boosted 05 Mustang GT

    Most ppl recommend way too much fuel pump to be safe and not fuel starve the engine. Add a return system to too much fuel pump, and you will be raising fuel temp in the tank as the extra fuel makes its way back to the tank.

    How many miles is to many miles to cam a car?

    That is too damaged for me to be putting just cams in. If you decide to fix it, would do a stock cam, and see if the engine is OK. Possibly a used stock cam someone who swapped cams has lying around. That much metal shavings in the oil could really mess up the cam sensor readings.
