I got this sweet 2012 5.0 S197 and I want to do some mods to it. And I’m going for these parts, and will tune after it. Is this acceptable for the gen 1 yote? Or do I need other things

And have long tube headers.

And a 302 intake

Will this setup be okay?

Cams are a waste imo. LU47 injectors and E85 are good. Is the car an auto or manual? Who is going to tune it? I have opgs and cam gear and spin it to 8200 on a gen 1.

Nice ride!

Looks like it’s got a BOSS 302 intake and Airaide tube.

JEWC brings up a good point… tuning is very important when you start modding…

Yes I have the lu47 on that list and there is a coyote specialist tuner taped to that does nothing but tune coyotes here I’m going to

But the brupbrupbrupbrupbrupbrup sound so nice

The stock cams will lope if tuned for it. Ford tunes the lope out of the stock cams. If all you want is sound get a ghost cam tune.

I’ve heard of the ghost cams, but will it produce the power as if I got performance cams is the question

Personally i think you will be disappointed with the power you will actually get for the cost. This is why i have stock cams with upgraded springs for high revving.
