Ok, so there is already more "new house" than old original house...brand new electrical panels & wiring, brand new plumbing, windows, furnace, hot water tank, floor joists, weeping tile, framing & drywall....all except the so called "new roof"....I make up new swear words every day...!!!! Been done several times & now we are finishing it ourselves so its actually done right.....We did everything else pretty much ourselves so why not? It seems any dishonest idiot can obtain & keep a contractors license, beware folks & choose wisely!!!! I keep telling myself, it will be beautiful when its done!! To all of you in the same boat, good luck, take a deep breath & keep your sense of humour, I feel your pain
