I need Help.. Somebody talk me through it... I've got a 2007 s281 back story its the 3rd s197 ive had. so i went to change stock shifter to a short throw. its a fairly simple process. 1 shoulder bolt and 3 nuts. so i had the old shifter out and putting the new one in. in the process of trying to line up the new shifter to the linkage. i accidentally pulled the linkage and it dropped down into 3rd grear.. i didnt think nothing about it until i finish the install and my car will not , i mean WIll Not c ome out f 3rd gear... what did i screw up?
