I am trying to put together a track rental day this Spring at LVD in New York. Just seeing if there is any interest from local guys on this forum that havent expressed interest yet on the LMMC-CT site. We are trying to get maybe another club to join too, CT subaru club of CT, something like that. :crazy:

OK, here is some good news. Friday, April 16th is all set. I will post a sign up sheet in a new thread and sticky it on LMMC-CT.com(S197Forum guys can let me know in this thread and I will update the main list). The better news is that you don't have to pay until the day of when you arrive. (Although, you can pay early on a CC to guarantee a spot.). If you have friends or aquaintances that show some real interest, by all means, post there name up on the sheet. I will have a section for definites that have paid, and a section for interested parties but havent ponied up the scratch yet. There will be a rain date, probably the 23rd, but I will clarify that soon. Certainly..As well as the point of contact at LVD for pre-payment to guarantee a spot. I will even put the main sign up sheet in a sticky in this forum too if you want Ron.

I emailed him the date. If you want you can talk to him, but I dont want to infringe on their rental day event if they have one. If he wants to post up my date, he can.

Lets see how many on my list commit, pay and go. Its usually a small percentage. But the nice thing is, even if I got only 20 people to commit, he camel will shit and the caravan will move on. The rental will happen no matter what(besides weather). There will be a little mix of different types of cars, but the test and tune crowd wont be there in force like thay are every Wednesday night..There will be some Suby's from CTSuby club of CT, but they are pretty cool guys..

Add another race to watch. Ive been wanting a piece of Freddy's(Runs detail shop for Hoffman) 2008 Z06. His best time is almost identical with mine. We have never been able to line em up at the test and tune nights. Well, there will be no excuses now. His trap speed is better than mine, but my 1/8 mile times are better. OK guys, I updated this sign-up sheet with info from the feeler thread. If you are not interested anymore, or if the date cant work for you, please PM me or post up so I can remove you from the list. Again this is an open rental put on by the track. So, if only 5 people decide to go total for example, the rental will still happen, and those that signed-up can still go race. The point of contact for pre-payment is Jennifer(nice girl btw) and is $70 bucks for the day. Her number is 518-653-2200. They have not even advertised this yet. So we have first dibs in filling the spots if we so desire/can. I believe gates open @ 8:00 and racing starts at 9:00(I will confirm that when LVD puts out the official 2010 schedule). Chris and EFILOGICS will be there pending EFI's race schedule, Please PM me your info needed for the sign-up sheet LVD sent me so you can be added, and I will send LVD an updated list periodically. I will put your username down for now till I get the info from you. If you are highlighted in green, that means you have PMed me your info,(full name, phone number) and are on board for the rental. More info to follow. And this list is just LMMC folk AND THEIR FRIENDS/REFFERALS. I will have a seperate list on a few different forums/clubs..

Ya its a 1/4 mile..I drive my car 1 1/2 hours each way to get there, no big deal..Worchester isnt that far, LVD is right off the mass pike just as you get into New York..

OHHHHHHHHHH! for crissakes you mean Lebanon Valley!!! I grew up in Albany & used to hear about that place on the radio all the TIME! Just never heard anyone refer to it as LVD... my bad! That's not as close as Epping for me... about an hour further. But I have a bunch of friends in Albany asking me to come visit, so I'll arrange to have them come see me race & go back to Albany for the rest of the weekend with them. June 11's too soon though.
