  • Hey I noticed you were running an e-force supercharger and I had some questions about it. If you don't mind could I borrow some of your time?
Wow what a pain that is ... Thanks for this info .. if I decide to get one I'll keep that in mind. I was looking at TruFiber hoods. In particular the 3 inch cowl hood.
Sorry I didn't see this message....It's the Cervinis Type IV Ram air hood with billet heat extractors. Knowing what I know now I would have gotten either a cowl hood or one with heat extractors like the GT500. For me to have the heat extractors functional on this hood I have to remove the drip pans under them and that exposes the engine wiring and coils to water. So I have to put the damn pans back in to wash the car which is a royal pain.
ok Thanks .. I was wondering about 17 " in the front and 15 " rims in the rear ... I'll ck around the board some more. seems like there's a lot of confusion about which drag wheels will fit which years ...
Sorry I never noticed your message here. I think the best thing you can do is to try and keep your car level when at the track. My car has a rake to it where the rear is taller since my drag radials are 28" tall and my fronts are the stock 17" pirelli's which are 27". I think that hurts my launch traction. The M&H's have worked well for me. Now when you are saying staggered, do you mean just wider in the rear? If that's the case then it would be fine. You need to decide if you want slicks, bias ply's or drag radials. I'm still trying to decide if I want bias ply tires or new drag radials for next year. With the drag radials you can drive on the street easily, but with bias ply's the car will be very sloppy on the road. I'm not the best person to ask about tires since this is my first car I've ever taken to the drag strip so I'm not very experienced.
Ok you helped me out last time with my Gage ?'s .. I'm looking to pick up some Slicks and wheels. I see you're running M & H's. My questions .. was thinking about 15" Weld 90 series. But it seems like a lot a trouble with grinding the brakes etc. I have 18" Roush wheels which I'd like to change up to something a little smaller. What do you think about staggered wheel sizes ? Since you run your's at the strip I'd welcome any suggestions or direction.
    Thx again ...

    :thanks1:
