Currently running 295/55/15s MT SS and love them. Im gonna have to pay $150+ in shipping to HI or I can get the 325/50/15 ET Street Rs and pay no shipping and save the $150. Worth it or not? I read about they fit and dont....LOL Anybody run that big ass tire? I only run at the drags so SS vs R isnt really a concern.

I'm running the 325/50 on 10" weld RTS wheels and Steeda sport springs, no fitment issues for me either.

didn't that rub the fenders?

Not for me, I drive like a Grandpa, wait a minute I am a Grandpa.

Same 325/50's after diff was shortened 1" per side and bags aired out. Car is held up in the rear by diff resting on the 3" over axle pipes.

This is on eibach pro kit with Mt et streets 325/50 15" sve wheels. I don't rub at the track but I do slightly rub when driving to the track.

BTW Scott how does the airlift work at the track? Just finished my install this weekend and waiting for my transmission to get back from its rebuild.

Scott that really looks sick.

Thanks!

Never been to the strip in my 08, it is on my bucket list. When I was in high school and college I campaigned this Boss 302 powered 65 Comet in G/Gas and had a ball, ran 11:00's on carbs.

If you can get into the defunct Air Lift forum here, I am pretty sure Jeremy posted about a Air Lift drag Coyote that was pretty quick.

Car looks good. I was just assuming with your wheel/tire combo you have ran it at the track. Hopefully next weekend I can get ride height set. Planning on adding a few pounds in the rear for the track. I'll look and see if I can find some of the old airlift threads.

Where was it rubbing? Fender or inside somewhere?

Scott,

Your picture (Below) reminds me of the way it was when my brother was drag-racing his Vette way back in the day.

And I was a young guy.

It would just barely rub the lip of the fender. The tires would leave a little bit of black that I can rub off with my finger. I cleaned the lip once at the track and there was no marks after 5 runs. But when I got home it was back.

Where was it rubbing? Fender or inside somewhere?

Not a single person asked - are you trying to look cooler or go faster?
On most cars a good 275 drag tire with a good setup is plenty. a 325 might just slow you down.
