So, what is your idea of "low miles"? Would it be worth it going to 4:10s from 3:73s? I want a little more torque down low but how much will these change my highway rpms? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinkin. I want to stay n/a (famous last words) an 4.10s were on my wish list. I wish I had the know how to do it myself. Gonna see if I can find a reputable installer. Very interested though.

The short answer is no if you have to pay someone to do it, not that it matters anymore since the gears are sold.

But cruising rpm difference is like 200rpm in 5th gear and I have read first gear goes by noticeably faster with 4.10s. I have a centrifugal blower and 3.73s and I kind of wish the car had 4.10s, but I like how 3.73s keep highway rpms lower. Steeper gears are needed even more if you ever plan on a TR-6060 swap or bigger cams.

Think I'll just start a blower fund. Should have it by the time I pay off the car. Ha!
