This is really tempting, I've been looking for one. This price is almost too good to be true.

Just went by the store, didn't even know there was one near me. They had these things in over stock so I bought one. Can't wait to mess some paint up!!!:321:

These aren't bad, however if you plan on making using a DA a regular thing you will find this makes things pretty tedious. The power is low, so while good for a beginner, it'll take say a 3-4 hour paint correction using a Flex or Rupes, about 2-3 hours longer. 6" is also a pretty big throw to use for detailing IMO. I wouldn't really go above 5.5".

Agreed. Nearly every detailing site that recommends these DA's tell you to get different backing plate and pads.

So would I be able to Change out the 6" backing plate to a 5.5" with no performance issues?
