Last September - tires were not dry rotted at all, in fact, in great shape for having 35k miles on them, you can see the tread, and it is a rear tire as well.

No idea honestly. Sounded like I hit a license plate laying in the road. Was headed east on 80/94 just getting into Indiana like a mile in, on a Sunday evening as the sun was setting. Beautiful night to sit on the side of the road as 5 lanes of traffic whizzes by you at 75mph. Guy on a motorcycle hit something as well and he rolled in behind me.

Tire was shot, wheel was bent, TPMS sensor was shot as well since it was right at the stem.

High mileage 3V pickup, it was a good deal
