Well today, I got around to installing an brand I can't remember alternative to Dynamat in the trunk area. Also installed a foam sticky barrier on top of that from the same company.

Looks like Raamat. I have/love that stuff. I want more of it on my car.

I looked into black chrome 2 and other black chromes, but on a non chrome surface they come out as a high gloss tinted machined aluminum. Not as much light refraction as colors with actual metallics with high gloss clears. Kingsport is like the color of Brembo wheel except has high amounts of metallic, slightly darker, and glossy with a clear.

Yea I see what your saying. My friends already razz me and call the car barney...lol I'm finding myself liking the grays more as well...charcoal and the new chrome ish gray...I'm still up in air about what I'm looking for
LOL. Yes, everyone calls my car "blurple" Over on the Fusion forum (they come in DIB as well), someone got a lip painted and posted a picture of the components used. One is lilac pearl--so it is actually "blurple"

I'm looking at variations of the stock Brembo wheel color since it works well. Gunmetal, anthracite, etc.

Cutting that bumper is scary. But it's actually not bad since Ford marked it on the inside.

The tips of my quad exhaust is like a finger thickness from the new valance panel and they sit right at the edge and a little inside the opening. Is this normal, it gets hot out back. Odd thing is it seems hotter than my catless h-pipe and stingers and whipple on my 3v. Can't believe it feels hotter than that.

Where? I was under the impression they had stopped production on the panels and the chin spoilers

Making good progress.

I like the silver better on the DIB. As mentioned above the dark bronze got lost on the blue. I definitely do not like the black on the blue though. Not without a lot of other black accents to tie it all together.

Update: I bought this thing a month ago, and Steve told me that CDC is still "boxing them". Something about fancy boxing. I dunno. I just wish they would send them out.

As for today:

I received my 2013 GT500 brembos 6 piston calipers and rotors today from a forum member on here through classifieds. And I also received my 11-14 style Steeda strut mounts to allow camber adjustment. I loved my steeda strut mounts on my 2005, so I figured it was a solid choice especially since it was bought from a SVTP forum member "used" but unused. Lol

I liked to find the forum member (if it was this forum) that tear downs, custom color powdecoats, and rebuilds (with new seals) on here if it was on this forum.

Ok, Latemodel Restoration's new DF5s are on my brain and I have a set of 6 piston Brembos sitting in the house. After seeing some rebuild and powdercoated brembos, I decided to contact a popular source to get them done. I originally was thinking of a golden copper color, but after the powdercoating source getting back with me, they advised that that that color would be $30 extra since it is not a stock color....

However, I did ask what colors in that realm are in stock. They sent these picture samples and I was amazed. They call it candy copper.....

So I decided to roughly photoshop what a set of gunmetal DF5s with candy copper 6 piston brembos would look on DIB:

I order from Steve from BBR. BBR is stock is coming from AM's warehouse. I got lucky, Steve said a guy dropped form the last waiting list and I got his slot. BBR was selling it for $212 at the time. I bought it on 9/15/14 and just got it today. Steve said AM was waiting for a "boxing solution" just basically was a fancy RTR box with foam padding (like a gun case). Fanciest packaging I ever had for a aftermarket part. Steve and I was wishing they were just bubble wrap and box that shit, so it would come out sooner. AM kept changing the ship dates.

They are sold out I think, but the next list is starting again. Worth the wait.

I just did a quick Photoshop of some Latemodel restoration's 20'' DF5 wheels (it actually STR wheels in the pic sampling on DIB, but close enough). DF5 are available in Silver and Matte Gunmetal. I'm thinking of powdercoating my 15'' 6 piston Brembos Candy Copper (as mentioned above) and I like people's opinion which Wheel Color on my DIB with Copper Brakes......
