Wow, nice car history! I loved the 5.0 and my lord, dat fox! Sweet project by the way, good luck (looks like you don't need any luck though).

Awesome build. I have always loved that generation of Ford trucks and can't wait to see how it turns out.

Thank you, definitely not my first odd engine swap or project but this is the first time fabricating in my life. Just decided I wanted to make it happen!

A mile of room for headers and some modern braking, a must. My dad has an f100 with an aluminum headed FE 390 based with a T56 tranny and a four link.....with manual brakes. It's like stopping a train. I took over his garage so he took a spot in mine, his notch back is shoved in here too.

Nice progress. I'm waiting to see what those wheels and tires look like when the fenders and bed are back on. Will you be sticking with those size tires/wheels? What size are those tires anyway?

Body parts are changing. Here's one of them, dropped it off to get some fabrication done to it.

So your having them cut the bed and shorten it? Then you'll cut the frame back?

Trucks already a short wheel base, I just wanted solid sheet metal for the future. This long bed is in great shape. Someday it will be painted correctly, just not now
