Well I traded off my 2010 GT after I pulled the Paxton and FRPP intake manifold off. Picked up this 2016 GT in Magnetic with the 401A package, navigation with a manual transmission. My 2010 was fun but stepping into this platform with the 5.0 is quite the step up for me. Drove 180 miles each way to get this one and the drive back was a blast.

Thanks guys. I have new wheels coming for it and should see them in about a week after ordering them about 2 months ago and will get more pics. Actually got a good deal on it and good trade in on my 2010.

Ford's 0% for 60 months has really been tempting me towards a 2016 S550 lately.

Or you could wait for a 17 in Grabber Blue.

Only thing I miss about my 13 is the color. Unfortunately Ford hasn't brought it back.

So what is the general feel of the new NA 16.... vs the 2010 + paxton ?

I took a test drive 10 months ago in a 2015 ecoboost..just to see what the IRS feels like. ( they had zero GTs). Now, every time I see these 2016 GT's about on dealer lots... I keep looking at my 2010 with roush blower... and wonder if I should trade. But then all the mods would start up again. I should just stay away from Ford dealers.

Well its not a fair comparison as I have yet to run to redline through the gears in the new one. The 2016 is deceiving as it is so much quieter and smoother than the 2010. The 2010 had the Paxton, FRPP intake manifold, Barton shifter, DSS drive shaft, 3.73 gears, suspension, and wider tires. The 2016 is all stock with 3.31 gears and 235 tires. The 2010 with the Paxton would take it I'm sure but by how much I don't know yet. The 2010 felt smaller, lighter and more nimble and I had a lot of fun with it being my first Mustang. Once I sat inside the 2016 I knew I was getting it, it definitely is more refined inside. That being said I like the 2016 more but I will never dismiss the 3V as being a fun car.

Yup.

Stock S197 has a .1 60' advantage stock for stock but is starting to get pulled by third gear. I know from experience.

Great choice OP and congratulations!

I'm really loving the magnetic color, especially in the sun. I've got more compliments on this car in 2 weeks than I did my 2010. Have had people yelling across 3 lanes at a stoplight how great they thought it looked.
