That's the one, but it require modifications and i dont know whitch mods it needs.
If anyone know please share :)

I figure to spend 1500$ on something that might never fit propperly to the rest of my car is to much of a gamble.

nearly all aftermarket hoods require fit and finish work to have them look right.

How sold are you on that particular hood.

Cervini makes a mark 4 which is very similar for half the price.

Mine went right on the car after paint. Of course I test fit it first to make sure.

Thank's for providing an option :)
I'm not completely sold on the supersnake hood, but it's looking good.
The cervinis aint so bad either.

How is the quality on your hood? Do you use the stock locking mechanism or locking pins?
I Can't see your photos due to some restrictions on the internet at work (read: at sea, so i don't gave normal internet for a while)

Stkjock, I knpw all hoods needs some work to look good, but I was just unsure about how the stock grille and lights would lign up with the supersnake hood as I've never seen the 08-09 front in real life.

There was a photo ot a shelby and a gt side by side on the s197forum facebook page, does not look like it will be a good match between the hood and the grille and lights.

Gues it will be cervini or modding of my stock hood then :p

The problem with buying fibreglas or carbon hoods from usa is the cost and risk of shipping to norway.
Sourcing something lokaly is a bitch as there probably only are 150 s197's in the country.

That hood requires the Shelby front fascia for proper fit. That would be the additional mod that it needs.

Just got an answer from cervini regarding shipping to northern Norway, 900$ in shipping + the price of the hood, take that total and add a 25% import tax and we have a total of to much $$$ for a fibreglas hood :p
so I think I'll need looking into having my local bodyshop mod my stock hood.

Thanks for all replys and sharing of knowledge guys, I'll update this thread when I've come to a decission about what to do.

That looks awesome. Was it easy to get fit right?

I'm a big Cervini fan . Hood and bumper fit perfect with absolutely no trimming or modding at all .. I have the Type IV with heat extractors also .
