Wow. Yea that was a great pass. Excellent!
30% nitro....how did you pull that off and what's involved in doing that?

Hoosier A7's 18x305 20 PSI & pimp juice, launch at 5 grand and slip the clutch for about 5 feet
Litos E85 tune runs pretty rich, with the nitro its just about stoichiometric and that really sets it off under load. Nitro will stay in suspension for about 12 hours in e85 with a few cap fulls of Paint thinner after that it needs to be drained or ran dry.
Crossed the 1320 Mark hitting Rev limiter well over 7000 RPM
I was running open headers, only down side was the bad eye stinging/watering, ridiculous back firing/shooting flames
I did extensive testing of the nitro mixtures in my lawn mower I've had it all the way up to 80% nitro without issue, and that's with me having ground down the deck height and cylinder head to bump the CR & drilling out the jets in the carb and running the hottest plug in it could find.
There is significant power gains to be had running nitro, sometimes I throw a shot of jack Daniels in the mix to just to show the car I care.

Lol the small tire nitro mower is a savage beast, I literally love mowing the grass now, i plan on slapping some nitrous on it in the near future. If I blows up I'll be able to justify getting a riding mower to the old lady

How much hp could be gained on a stock 3v with adding nitro? I assume you have to already make the switch to ethanol? You cant mix nitro and gasoline correct?

It will not suspend it in gas. Higher concentrations will yield more power. It gives substantial low/mid range power gains(great for big cams) the standard gorilla math is for every 1HP on gasoline, nitro makes 2HP. But being that it doesn't require oxygen to burn it's more of a matter of how much you can dump in the engine. be careful though to much bald eagle piss and you'll shit the bed quick & change the oil way more often

Pretty much - get flow matched quality injectors - tune for e85 - then start the Walt white shit. Does the tune have to account for nitro content? Or since it's self oxy it takes care of itself?

You're actually running nitromethane? Are you having any issues with corrosion in the fuel system or exhaust? And where do you even get that stuff?

When people walk in my garage they walk right by my mustang like it's invisible and go straight to the mower, I set the valve lash using a compression tester with them lapped just right I saw over 200PSI dry(it's hard to shut down sometimes because i think it starts dieseling) I also got great results by shimming the valve springs with washers and shortening the speed governing spring... it runs basically flat out at all times about 1.5 times the normal operating RPM. I did port the head with a dremal but I'm not sure if it helped because I couldn't smonth it out very well

I put some some Castrol R in the mowers mix, but I haven't noticed any issues. I guess It wouldn't be a bad idea to wipe down the valve train... but I don't because I haven't seen the need to yet. Rc air planes run nitro and it's also used as an industrial cleaner. Google it, you can find it easily

Looking good. Yea I got a couple of gallons of old( couple years) 20% nitro rc fuel. Which is mostly alcohol, then a percentage of nitro......10,15,20,ect. The rest is usually caster bean oil. Love that bean oil smell. Maxima 927, Blendzall, Be'nol......all brings back good motocross memories.
