I bought some all black housing turn signals and am trying to find some switchback leds for the turn signals. American muscle used to sell them but apparently don't anymore, anybody got a link to some?

I just bought some off eBay that you have to wire in a resistor to prevent the rapid flashing. I haven't done out them in yet as I am not sure where to put the resistors. Kind of worried about them getting hot. Kit looks decent. I also added smoked front signals and don't want to get a hassle for a white front signal. So far it hasn't been an issue for me.

Just bought some switchbacks from vled. Little pricey, but I saved on the cheap cheap turn signals I bought off eBay. All black housing and clear lenses and they actually look really good. Gonna fill the seam with enough silicone to make a pornstar jealous and I'll be good to go.

I don't see anything wrong with them as long as you seal them nicely.

I have Oracle 5014-005, they were only $20 ea. and work great! I installed their 4k LED headlight conversion also, the color temp of the switchbacks and headlights match perfect and the headlights are very bright without blinding everyone else.

I'm gonna look more into this kit. The kit I bought didn't work correctly at all for a huge price tag.. and now my turn signals are on the frits even tho I put the stock bulbs back in. Bought two new plug harnesses for the turn signals just to fix my issue.

You won't regret it, mine are a few months old with no issues. Also I see a lot of LED lights state you may need resistors installed but I did not need any for these. Good luck buddy!

You have led turn signals without resistors? And haven't had issues?

I used to have these on my 2005 mustang. They are plug&play and you don't need a resistor. The picture is old and the bulbs look different now.

I wish they would make them for the 2015+ mustangs

I still have these in a box.

You had an 05-09 and it replaces the main bulb? Because there are two bulbs. A tiny one and the main one. Was thinking the big one was a 3157 or something like that

The link is for the big bulb (3157) the smaller bulb is a 194.

I used to have a 2005 GT for 10yrs, traded it in for a 2015 GT.

Awesome. They issue I had with vleds kit was when you would turn the turn signal on the white parking lights wouldn't come back on. And these worked fine?

So I took your advice and bought the leds from mustang project and they did the same thing the others did. Will turn on white with parking lights and also turn amber for the turn signal but won't turn back to white once the turn signal is off. They just shut off and I have to turn the parking lights off and back on for them to turn on white. I'm thinking it's an early s197 thing where the power source just cuts off until the turn signal comes back on. Makes no sense to me and doesn't look like there's a way to get around it at all.

Anybody else have an opinion on what to do? If there is anything I can do.

So I tried to run the switchback led bulb without the resistor based on a tip from the fb group. I have resistors for the rear tail lights I have and thought maybe they were messing with each other. The leds didn't hyperflash but they still didn't come back on. My issue is now that one you turn the turn signal on and they turn amber, they won't turn back to white, they just shut off, but still come back on orange with the turn signal. And I have to "reset them" by turning my parking lights off and back on again. Like it's shutting them off once the turn signal goes off. But the stock bulbs stay on just fine. Anybody know what's going on? I also tried this with some 3157 led bulbs from Walmart and same thing. They don't come back on once the turn signal shuts off.

DO NOT USE VLED's, my garage kept nice weather driver all 6 of the VLED's I have are failing and they said too bad so sad because it's past their 1 year warranty. Said it must have been the environment they were in, BULLSHIT I have not lost a single factory bulb that are 3 times the age and mileage. I doubt they even have 10k sunny miles on them, if this were a daily by that logic they'd be failing every 6 months.

Yeah plus they're crazy expensive and come with screws to make your own bulb harness fit. Looked nice at first til I read about them. I already sent mine back for a refund.
