So I have the opportunity to buy a complete crown Vic (07) engine for 350. Same yr as my car. All I want from it is the bare block. I'm assuming it's the same block as mine. The plan is to build my motor over the winter as I am living on borrowed time with mine 498 rwhp 465 ft. Lbs at tires. Does anyone know if there is any differences in blocks? Thanks guys.

4.6 3v block? Well I'm listing mine tonight or tomorrow and it won't be $1200

I just found a complete engine losing compression and a knock for 700. Waiting to here back from the guy. All I
want is the block but if I can get a complete for 700 I'll sell all the shit I don't need from it

If you live near any junk yards call and price an entire used engine, I can pick them up in Houston for as little as $700. at least 5.3 chevy and 2v ford stuff. I don't imagine the mustang engine is any more costly used.

Maybe not...they are all about $1800 shipped on eBay. Thats a complete engine a lot of times including accessories shipped to your door, could always sell the things you don't need and it will likely pay for itself.
