Atco at the end of winter we get some crazy low DA's. I was with Mike when he was running. I could not believe it ran that great. I would say the car is more of a 12.6 to 12.7 car on average.

Of the 3 tracks in NJ Atco has always been most favorable to me with prep and DA. Unfortunately it's a dam long ride to get down there from North Jersey. We go to Island for the most passes on a test and tune day. That 12.60 pass was definitely a sweet pass for stock.

Wow, what was the DA? That may be a record for a "stock" auto 5.0, as I have never seen a stock one run that, ever. You the original owner? Base car or loaded?

I have no idea what the DA was. I'm the 2nd owner, I picked it up from the dealer with 800mi on the clock. previous owner was in the military and traded it in for a more fuel friendly car to drive from MD to CA

Not a base car, has Brembos, Brembo/Track pack wheels, Leather Recaros, etc

Like Tungston said, it was a 12.6-12.7 average car that night. I had 9 runs with an average time between of 7-10 minutes. Only decent break between runs was 30 minutes and I tried shifting it myself only to find out there was a 500rpm delay between the time I hit the button and the time it actually shifted which caused it to hit the rev limiter.
Also had 3/4 tank of gas in it lol

I run with Auto-X guys, but they weren't there that night. The drift crowd is totally different from the Auto-X guys. A bunch of us from Bluff City Mustangs were there mostly drag racing though.

Nice runs

Thank you! And, might I suggest a Circle-D converter for your 6R80 so that you can drop a half second off your 1/4 mile ET's? You have all the other pieces of the puzzle in place, and your car is doing very well, just need a stall converter to run mid 11's. Best bang-for-the-buck, short of forced induction, IMHO.

Converter and tires are next on the list.. ordering them this week. I also have BMR uca, lca, brackets, and drag springs sitting here.

Congrats on your new PB, Thanks to your posts, I got my friend hooked up with Mike Roush, and his car is running way better now. I am still waiting for better weather here before I can make a pass this year, as last year I made no passes, and my only change for this year is M/T Drag Radials, and Skinnies, and 3.31 gears. I am planning on asking Mike, to set me up with a race tune, as Im happy with my present tune, which is a street tune, which has netted me a PB of 12.18 @ 113.

Wow, that trap speed for your mods is unbelievable. Guys well into the 11's don't run that. Your car is running great. I wish I had negative DA at least one time LOL.

I was also impressed with the trap speeds that night. I went there aiming for a 12.0 and was pissed I couldn't get my 60' down .10

Your trap speeds are great. I run Eagle F1's for my street tires, but would never run them at the track. A proper drag radial is going to get you into the high 11's and keep you there consistently. You'll wonder why you didn't buy drag radials sooner!

Mods:

- Bama 91 race tune (V2)
- Flowmaster Outlaw axle backs
- Steeda Ultralite lowering springs
- J&M adjustable panhard rod

Stock airbox and cats and everything, not sure the Bama tune is really doing a whole lot without other mods. I'm car #140, right lane

Time to update the list? It's been almost 2 months.

Two months doesn't warrant an update. It's not a two second thing. We discussed doing it about every 4 months, (quarterly) which is more then enough. It used to get done every few years...
