Sounds like you are over powering the tires and suspension now for sure. I would say she is a 9.9XX car for sure once you get the launch sorted. All the more impressive seeing as you row your own gears!

RXT will be going in soon I hope. I also have a BMR 11-14 UCA with spherical ends and mount waiting to go on the car. I honestly probably need LCA brackets as well.

Drive 55 what 1st gear ratio is in your t56. 138 is really impressive. Any idea how much power? I will also be getting 15s next too. Probably going with ET Pros though for dual purpose.

SALEEN, that's awesome that you canget that 60 out of 373. I was considering going with 410, but at my speed currently I'd have to Rev 4th way out to cross the traps and I don't want to shift to 5th. Do you have a PD blower on your car still. I'm wondering if that won't be enough gear for my turbo though.

SKAARLAJ, I always heard every .1 short time was worth .2 on the big end. That may not be accurate though. Just think, I ran a 10.91 with a 1.49 60 @128 on the stock motor. This 10s pass I was carting 6mph more in the 1/8 and 8 more in the 1/4. But .4s slower 60

I've got a 2.98 1st gear, I was spraying a 200shot so power was around 850rwhp.

I had 3.90 gears on that pass in my sig, I had been running 4.10's but with the nitrous I was having to grab 2nd at the 45 foot mark, so I tried the 3.90's. they didn't help that at all, So in went 3.08's.

Looking at the gear calculator, I'd say you'd be better off with 3.90's or maybe 3.08's. The 3.90's will keep you in 4th while the 3.08's will really let you wind out 1st gear and keep you in 3rd.

With the current 3.55, I just come out of the hole so slow. I don't think 3.08's would help that at all. I'm leaning toward the 3.73 or 4.10. I may just have to get manuel to up my rev limit so I can wind out 4th a little.

Update: 11-15-16
Went to the Cecil Dragway on Saturday. I had 5 passes and only 1 yielded a good time. I brokeup on first, second, and partially in third gear. I still managed a 10.6@ 143 with a 1.63 60'. After looking at the logs, manuel said it was misfiring and he adjusted the tune to give me some more timing. I need to put new plugs in for the misfire issue. Either way, not having a great pass and hitting 143 was nice. The 1.63 shows me that I should be able to get that down with a few adjustments.

It has Steeda Lowering Springs, Koni Str.t shocks and struts, stiff rear sway bar, and lower control arms.

I have a BMR upper in my garage and I will most likely add some LCA mounts too.

So the car sits on GT500 Rear BMR drag springs, Viking Crusaders, BMR LCA brackets, Billet LCAs, stock upper and a 15" front and rear Weld setup.

The t56Magnum was changed out and I am not running a built 6r80 with the Quick 6 Controller.

I went to the JPC rental at Capitol Raceway last Sunday with a nice cool temp in the 80s. IAT's started at 100* for my best 2 passes. My best pass of the day was a 10.41 @ 139.5 with a 1.685 and a 10.52 @ 138.6 with a 1.661. The car had a bad flare issue on the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts. I was short shifting the 1-2 and 2-3 in the controller programming to try to get into upper gears and boost quicker, this resulted in shifts before the 60, but still somehow managed the 1.6's. These were both leaving off of a 2step wired into my brake pedal. the 1.68 was at 2500 and the 1.66 was at 2700.

I've been working with the group over at US Shift to get the flare issue worked out and Manual was there every step of the way with me providing excellent trackside support.

His second revision along with the suggest of lowering the gear shifts resulted in a 7mph gain in the 1/8th. Its also 4mph faster in the 1/8th than my previous PB where I went 143 on the big end when it was 50* out. Needless to say I can't wait to get back out and maybe knock on the door of that single digit pass.

I didn't read the whole thread, but you are still using a rotating assy or no?

Kellogg Crank, H-beams, Diamond Flat Tops, Upgraded Wrist Pins, ARP everywhere, mild street port heads, stock cams now, upgraded springs, stock throttle body and stock intake manifold.
