My nephew sent me a pic of his boat that he had fixed up with a new motor. Sounds pretty much like having a mustang without wheels! Nephew says this thing scoots pretty well :)

Only pic I have right now. It's actually one of the cheaper vehicles we own. Mostly because I only do maintenance on it.

I bought a flats boat a few months ago. It's nothing special just something to get me around the back country. I didn't want a payment. It's an 18ft Actioncraft with a 150HP 2001 Mercury Optimax DFI 2 stroke. I've done several things to the motor trying to fix a stalling issue at low idle, but no luck so far. It jumps up on plane real fast and runs like a scalded dog once you punch it though. Does good on gas too. In fact, it's taken more of my time than the car lately. Next project is repainting the cowling and putting the stickers on her.

Hey you still gotta look semi cool right lol. The previous owner just gave the stickers to me, otherwise I wouldn't of bought any. Those things are like $200!

The stalling issue is driving me nuts though. I have to slam it in gear right after starting it, especially when it's cold. You would think a computer controlled outboard wouldn't do that. I guess it's not adaptive like our cars.
