So I went and met our new superintendent today, and I'm pretty damn impressed with the guy. When I showed up at the house, he already had a whole crew of guys there, going over all of the things he wants fixed. They're completely tearing out the faulty wall and rebuilding, which means framing, drywall, texture, tile, trim, and paint. He also had guys on the outside getting it ready for stucco.

The interior has the first coat of paint, and the railing is stained.

Notice in that last picture how they had just punched a hole in the wall to run their extension cord. Wish I could have caught the piece of shit who did that.

You're gonna need to post more details, bud. That shit ain't gonna fly around here. :thumb2:

Sorry man lol. It has been a long road and still a ways to make it ours. House is 3100 sq ft as a tradition 2 car garage with a tandem third bay to make it a three car garage. two story with an awesome covered patio. plans right now are to make the patio in to an outdoor living space, gut and redo the master bath and master closet and then last will be an overhaul of the kitchen. house is a mix of stone and brick on the front and brick and siding on the sides and back.

Unplugging the cord and then cutting it in half with your pocket knife will fix that issue. The one he buys to replace it will be long enough to reach without punching holes in your walls.

I like the way you think.

Also got a super soft shag area rug for the living room. It feels amazing!

mmm... Jumbo seeds. Love those fucking things.

OH yeah, the faucets look good too. Way better than the cheesy 2 handle acrylics.

More progress.

Started the stucco, until weather interrupted.

Also, the counter tops all went in yesterday.

And they're finally making progress on fixing that wall.

I didn't take pictures, but they've got all of the canned lighting installed, as well as the switches. Also, the lighting and plumbing fixtures are going in either today or tomorrow. I wish I could have them just leave them in boxes in the garage, since we're replacing them right away anyway.

Got an update from my favorite associate at the furniture store. Looks like there is a 15% sale this month (up from 8% last). I wonder if it will go up to 22% next month. Lol

I really like that look. Is all that from Lowe's? I need to do something other than the same old standard white tile in the new house.

Cool, thx. I found kitchen cabinets at Lowe's that I like and want to use something similar but not exactly the same in the bathrooms. I think that will work nicely with what I have in mind.

Theyre nice, especially for the money. I think both ran me $400 give or take. Good luck !
