Yup pretty much what I've been doing. If you shop you can find crazy deals on most of the parts. The real reason I chose the DOB manifold is it produces the lowest IATs for our 3v with a supercharger.

Alright so my 315/30r18 NT01s(left) weigh 59.2 lbs each!!! Damn that's a heavy bitch!
My 275/35/r18s (right) weight 54.8 lbs each. So definitely some room for improvement as far as rims are concerned!

Not much was done yesterday. About 45 min of grinding and inhaling dust. Having this Milwaukee 2780 makes all the difference.

Well about 2 hours of strait grinding and I've got the drivers side done. Not including the back seat. 2.3 lbs of crap collected. So.... yeah.

Looks like there should be a lot of gains from both the supercharger and the weight savings. I hope to one day be on this same adventure too. Good luck and keep us posted!

Passenger air bag coming in at 6.4 lbs. (.7 lb correction for the actual scale weight)

Thanks yeah I have plenty of time to strip stuff of the car. The DOB manifold for my kit isn't going to be shipped till later this month or early May. Plenty of time to tinker

Yeah rear seat is going and eventually both front seats. Carpet is going as well. We will see what else I can live without
