I just ordered some 315/35-17 NT05Rs for my 2014 GT that's basically stock with roush mufflers and rear 17x10.5 Weld RT-S wheels.
Last season I was cutting 1.82 60fts running 8.02@89mph in the 1/8th with 265/40-18 MT ET Streets on stock 18x8 wheels. I wanted 305/45-17 ET Street S/S but they just aren't in the budget currently. I know radials aren't ideal for manual transmissions but I can get a great deal on them through my work that way I can actually put other money towards mods this year.
So I'm hoping I can dip into the 7s on these new tires with a slightly lower 60ft before I get a tune or cat deletes. Do any of you guys have experience with these on a manual trans car at the track? Thanks
