Made this shifter mount a couple days ago and put my carpet in.
Had to ditch the FAST XIM since it is not a good standalone ignition (no vacuum/boost reference).
I'm now modifying an MSD Mod6 to use on my coyote. I've already switched the pins to correct the firing order. Next I need to swap out the coil connectors and then ill work on the cam/crank sensor connectors.

marks on the shocks - do you mount a gopro underneath to monitor travel? neat idea!

That's the plan. Also why I painted the ARB yellow so I could distinguish it from the rest of the suspension parts. Can't afford shock sensors and a racepak :) hopefully I won't need to adjust too much but just in case.

So I got the mod6 re-pinned. Also got the cam gear modified for the sensors. The mod6 is setup for 4.6/5.4 modulars so I had to modify the coyote cam gear (pass side exhaust cam) teeth. Modular engines only have one tooth for the sensor whereas coyote 5.0 engines have 7 teeth. Luckily the 5.0 has one at the exact same location (degree wise) as the 4.6/5.4 engines.
This is the same modification done when using a BS3 and some other EFI systems that not have VCT ability.
Here's what it looks like now plus some pics of other crap I'm working on (radiator/fan, wiring etc.)

Picked this up for $75 but needed a new can for it. Total in the whole setup $195 and the canopy plus lines look like they've never been used.
I'll make the hitch portion once I have the engine fired up and trans tested.

Haha not sure about simplifying...simple would have been to buy the FRPP control pack and plug/play.
I've got nearly everything wired up...I hate wiring...so tedious to do it correctly. Everything is crimped with shrink wrap or soldered with deutsch connectors or molex connectors.
Dash is in but I need a new dash pad and I'm mounting my tach and water temp gauge. Also have o install the steering wheel and hook up my trans brake/line loc buttons.
I can do a low amp circuit test on everything before I try to fire it up.
Getting close now.

Kevin from CSU is awesome. I used to work with him many years ago, and I see him at the track often out here in CA. He runs what he builds in his own car, great guy.

Yep it's running and driving.
Here's some pics of the interior, engine bay and whole car. Still have some work to do and get it on the dyno but I needed to drive it before the end of the year. Runs good no stupid stuff so hopefully this carburetor experiment will work out ok.

Car is running and went to the track today. Blew the tires off first two passes but still ran 112mph to the 1/8 mile on an easy run. Finally started getting the chassis worked out and lost high gear on this run.
Officially the fastest carbureted coyote on the planet...yes there's a couple now.

That is more or less a standard Fox quadralink, aka quadrabind.
