Second pic looks like a world class sports car.

I actually like that last one, the silver one, it almost looks like an Aston Martin

With direct injection and port injection, wonder if the 5.0 gets a power Bump?

Wonder how much harder that will be to tune

direct injection should be a prettty good bump in tq, hp and fuel economy.
I've been awaiting them to put DI on the coyote. THey designed the block right from the get go to be ready for DI.
makes sense for a power update for the mid cycle refresh to rekindle the interest.

Yeah, it seems side, corner shots do well. The head on shots are what can ruin it. Maybe that Orange Fury color too, or how the color balance was done on the video. Looks pale.

Nice forged wheels.

The current crop of typical TVS blowers do not fit under the hood.

12:1 CR may also not play as nice with boost.

These cars are getting like motorcycles. So highly tuned and technologically advanced the cost to get them to make more power is becoming prohibitive. You almost can't justify tinkering with the drive train unless you have deeper pockets.

New 5.0 with the 12:1 compression .... did Ford effectively kill the ability to easily supercharge and make tons of power out of these cars?

Maybe 5-7 psi will still work. Still a 34-48% increase in power at those low boost levels. Even if it stays at the same hp you would be able to easily hit near 640 hp. The amount of power available is getting silly anyway. It's becoming a big sausage swinging festival these days.

I never liked the 2015 but this car is growing on me and it comes with a bunch of good options. I need to see one in Black and I have a feeling that the price is going way up when heavily optioned.

The Mustang GT is not the poor man's sports car any longer.

Nope, not at $40K plus.

EDIT: I think I paid $19K OTD for my base '99GT. Sticker was low $20s.

A well equipped 1991 GT 5.0 Mustang MSRP was $15,034. In 2016 dollars that's roughly $26,492. Still 10-15K less than a GT car today.
