Metal Clanking Noise in Rear End

i have a 2009 automatic gt 45th anniversary and for a couple of months i have been hearing a metal clanking noise when i accelerate and slow damn. Can anybody tell me what it is?

I have heard a lot of people mention something similar and have had great success with differential bushing replacement with a polyurethane bushing. Also the rear upper control arm & mount.

Could be LCA, UCA or the rear end itself.

If you recently replaced your rear upper control arm, it may not have been torqued down properly. I did that about a year ago and experienced that metal clacking noise until I figured it out.

First step would be take a look around and check all fasteners and bushings.

When I had some loose rear suspention parts, I would get a clank on accel/decell as the driveshaft took up slack. The loose bolts amplified the noise significantly.
