Just got the call - the GT500 spoiler's DONE!
Going to pick it up in a few minutes

And, the new GT500 spoiler is now installed, minus the Gurney flap, to be installed shortly :

Thanks man ... I ended up having issues with the Gurney flap.
Couldn't get rid of the scratches in it from shipping. Tried detailer spray/microfiber towel, tried Scratch-X2.0/microfiber towel. Tried painting it, adhesion promoter/lens paint/high-temp paint, didn't come out good cuz I didn't clean off the Scratch-X well enough so it wasn't sticking well at the ends of the flap.
Right now the 4th coat of Plasti-Dip is drying, after I sanded the hell out of the rough areas ... looking somewhat OK now ...

Sent an e-mail to Levittown Ford to see if there's anything they can do for me ... not gonna install this flap until I hear back from them ...

Thanks man, I really don't mind the look of the Brembo wheels, just wish the rears were wider, which I still may send out the rears to have widened, just need a set to drive on meanwhile, lol

This thread has re-lit my 5.0 bug. I want a SG and would do most of the same mods except the black exhaust. Looking good man!

Thanks man ... I wish I got to drive it today but I really don't wanna drive it until I put the Gurney flap on, and the instructions for the spoiler said not to drive for 5 hrs after install anyway ...

Finished installing the GT500 rear spoiler (stuck on the Plasti-Dipped Gurney flap), cleaned it up, and went out for a drive and to take some new pics

You need a stubby antenna on that thing!!

Yesterday I received the free Airaid CAI rainshield for the '13-'13 GT vented hoods, today I Plasti-Dipped the thing since I wasn't gonna install a huge shiny part under my hood ...

I'm a better-safe-than-sorry type of guy.
The driver side vents drip water onto the top of the factory airbox which means the filter would probably get wet, especially with the car sitting.
I'd rather not have to not drive the car just cuz it's raining.

This shield will allow me to drive the car worry-free.

Great looking car. So clean looking.

The little water cover is 100% not needed lol. Ive driven the car in heavy rain and let it sit in heavy rain and checked the filter and its not even wet lol.
