If the stock hood clears the TVS the Saleen hood will clear it for sure.

I thing about the mmd vents and the gt500 vents is that they sit on top of the hood rather than in it. To me that makes a huge difference in the overall appearance.

I agree. If everything was level if not recessed it would look perfect. I want your Saleen Hood, but not sure on the pins.

Cam, would you be able to lower the engine and still have clearance with the headers? May buy you some clearance to run a hood you may not otherwise be able to.

The hard part, as you've identified, is that your car is so clean and that you need to find something that fits the overall style and flow of the car. The Kaenen hood posted may be my favorite so far. Never been a fan of the Saleen style personally, and all of the other vent options are going to look tacked on. They'd work for a more "race" style build, but I don't think they'd flow well with yours.

I came up with an idea... will report back. Settling on my home end of this month and then can open up the wallet to buy car parts again.

Sounds like it's going to be something different... I like the sound of that! :popcorneat:

Ordered some parts, making some plans still. All builds are kind of at a slow pace because of house mods and wedding planning.

Here's some pics to keep you entertained.

And some Corvette too because I've been driving it lately. :)

I hear that. I have over $2000 worth of parts that have been sitting on my bench for months (some more than a year!) waiting to be put on the car.... and for some stupid reason I started remodeling my bathroom.

Good luck with the wedding plans and wedding.

Thank you... that helps. :) Much love for the carbon. I pondered trading up to a C6 GS just last week. I actually like 6 better than the 7.... but the 7 is growing on me.
