Well got the engine out. Probably can do it in half the time if I had to do it again. Note to self just pull trans and engine at the same time next time. Would be a lot easier.

And.... the "it all looks the same" empty engine bay picture!

I always see these empty engine bay pics and notice things and wonder if mine is like that.

Got a little work done on the block! Anyone else look at their block when it's out and think how small it actually is?

Well got sometime today but tripped the bolts on the block pictured. Now it feels like it's going to be a long process getting those out. Fml. Oh well

Nice progress! That point you get to work on the engine outside the bay is such a great feeling. I am jealous. On the stripped bolts, let me hit you with an old man trick. Find you a deep socket that is a size too small and beat that sucker on. The hammering action helps to be break it loose as well.

Good, I hope it works for you. It has saved me several times. I don't like to be Mr. Public safety announcement, but do wear glasses or something lest the metal splinters off in you friggen eyeball.

Yup. I don't f**k around with my eyes. I wear glasses when hammering or grinding on car. Thx

Dammitt! Somebody stole my old man trick, improved it, and stamped a patent on it. I need to get theses old bastard tricks on paper.
