Decided to take the car down to PIR and see what it's got after doing the swap. Aside from beating a new R/T Challenger and an older STi on the highway, I haven't really had fun with the car since dropping the 3v in. It was opening night so an above average amount of hard parkers and annoying vehicles, but for the most part a good group of what I would consider slower cars. The fastest thing there was a Hellcat Charger trapping 125.

I made 7 passes in the span of 2 hours and the car got faster every pass. Apparently I can't cut worth a darn and didn't take enough off of the sway bar tabs so the drag tires didn't fit. Had to run on the 255/45/18 BFG Comp Allseasons. Started with a really awful 13.9 at 106 that made me want to set it on fire. Spun, bogged, spun again, and finally got going.

After learning that this track focused suspension is no good on the drag strip, changed launching technique a little bit and picked up some time and mph. Ended the night with a 13.3 at 109 mph....is that a good time/speed for my car?

Full weight (3600ish with driver), 3.31 gears, 27" tall all season tires, Comp 127400 cams, Steeda CAI, Roush UDP, Pypes LT's and O/R H. Stock throttle body, intake manifold, and charge motion plates. It has a ton of nice suspension parts, but not for drag racing so I knew it wasn't going to be blistering fast especially on street tires. Have't had it on the dyno so no power numbers.

All in all, I'm happy with the speed and will take the ET. 60' on the 13.3 run was 2.1 so there is definitely room for growth in my opinion. Thoughts?

I'd say you did pretty damn good.
Stock '11-14 Coyotes were advertised at 12.7-12.9 so you're not far off from those

You'd be under 13 with a good 60'. A 109 trap is faster than my 12.814 I did.

Thanks. 60' definitely needs some help and the tire/suspension I went down there on is about as anti 60' as you could get lol.

Going to change stuff up before I go back there again, whether that's 3.55 gears and radials or if I get the 6060 swap done in time, either way it should go faster/quicker...hopefully.

IMHO, I'd go at least 3.73 if you are going to go to the trouble of a gear swap. Also, probably would work best running DOT slicks with a manual.

Yeah it would definitely be worth cutting more off the swaybar tabs to get the drag tires to fit. Even with a road course oriented suspension I bet you can get that car in the mid-12s once you get some traction.

My 2005 GT in my signature weighs 3500 with me in it.
My best was a 12.96 @ 105...1.9xx 60 foots.

Stock auto trans and convertor, 3.31 gears, stock engine and factory mainifolds and cats.

With just a 4.10 swap it should be in the 12.70's.

Your 109 mph would indicate the car has the power to run 12.60's

I don't know if this car will see the drag strip again. Picked up another car (see sig) that has much more power. Time to let the white car do what it does best and carve corners.

Thanks all for the suggestions, I will apply them to the new car
