Upgraded the shaft in the 2007 GT500...vibration starts to show up at higher speeds.

I know this isn't a new problem...but so far, I haven't found advice on the next steps.

Is this just a matter of trying a different shaft? Having the shaft balanced? (I'd think that a $700 tube would have included that service).

Any advice is appreciated.

Yeah, my post wasn't clear. Sorry about that.
Upgraded from the stock two-piece boat anchor to the one piece.

I didn't consider rotating the shaft but that would imply that there was an imbalance else in the driveline. Wouldn't that have been apparent before the shaft install?

Thank you for the suggestion... It's absolutely worth a try.

it's been a common issue w/ one pc shafts to have a minor vibration that will go away once indexed. one of the reasons these cars have that 2pc shaft is to reduce NVH issues.

so you went with 4" Alum 1 pc?

Well that's a much easier solution than I feared. Much appreciated... I hope to give it a shot this weekend.

Thank you!

The shaft is the Ford Motorsports 3.5"
It seemed like a good deal...

Is your car lowered or stock ride height? Stock gears or aftermarket?

Have you figured out what is causing the vibration? I was thinking about getting this same driveshaft, but not so sure now. Going back and forth between the ford and dynotech 1pc aluminum shafts.
