I fitted mine today also. I painted where the rails will sit a few days ago. Just to stop it rusting under the rail.
I found using a claw hammer rather than a screw driver more helpfull to lever the back of the k member.

I thought the rear 2 holes looked gunked up with rust and paint so i tried to just force the bolts in.

Nope, wasnt going to happen. so i tapped them out.

that looks better

The bolts went in ok after that. My car is a daily driver with 80000 miles so i didnt expect the bolts to go in but it was worth a try first.

Really easy install, even in my tiny garage.

Mine came this week, I called and they gave me 10% off, three days later they were here. (I live just up the road a ways)
Great product, excellent service... you can't ask for more than that.
I'll install them this Saturday.

Glad to hear it - will change your life lol.
I really hope so. I lowered my car another 1/2 all around and went back down to 35 profile tires and can't even use ramps to get the jack by the middle of the k-member.

So hoping this will work for my setup.

the back hole that doesn't have a bolt in it and open to the elements, might be gummed up or have shit in it and might need cleaning out, run a bolt in it and see if it threads up nicely if not clean it out with a tap

Mine arrived today, it said Tuesday but it was a nice surprise.

Took less than 30 min to install. Wish the instructions had torque specs but quick search it's 85lb-ft for the factory k-member bolts.

The rear bolts I just tighten them down as much as I could with the socket wrench.

I enjoyed bringing the car back down and jacked it up again just to test it again.

I no longer have to cringe evertime I have to jack my car up now!!!

Anybody found that the threaded inserts are missing from their car? Mine are there on the passenger side, but the driver side are empty holes. 2005 model, build date was October 2004. Looking for a part number or replacement.
