went back to stock converter late last fall and it seems to be holding up - but I run the converter 100 percent unlocked till 6th gear whether it is normal driving or wot- It had flare on the 3-4 shift last year and this year it hasn't been a issue because it doesn't happen till 155 mph ish, with the 2.73 rear gear. it is going to come out this winter and get upgraded internals and a converter- just haven't decided on which stall yet, I really like running the 1/2 mile events now and want to maybe do the texas mile next year.
