Hello everyone. Coming to you from the dark :boti: side. But before the tomato's start flying, let me share a bit of background. I cut my muscle car teeth on Fox body 5.0's. My brother-in-law is still a multiple (old) 5.0 owner(95 Cobra, 2 93 Cobras and a 93 Vert). He will be purchasing an s197 5.0 here very soon and we usually work on these cars together. His plans include installing a turbo, so I want to learn what I can about them so that we are better informed as the modding begins. Personally, I have nothing but respect for the new 5.0's. I would gladly park one right beside my SS. Truth be told, these S197 5.0's are strong(especially the A6's, as far as I can tell), stronger than my SS. So know that I come here with total respect and appreciation.

Sounds like you have a great brother-in-law. Welcome to the site.

My little A6 Mustang likes Camaros but prefers Corvettes. While the Camaro tastes a little like Cornish Hen, the Corvette tastes more like Pheasant. LOL!

I think he is trying to decide between a white or DIB. Great looking car either way. So do you have any mods besides the tune?

I have a friend with a '12 DIB A6 Turbo'd 5.0. I would post some pictures, but can't access FB atm. I believe he is running the Hellion Twin Turbo system, and puts down some mean times.

The hellion system is the primary one that he is considering but I wanted to read up on what you guys are using. I could only imagaine, ive seen some pretty crazy numbers with a proper set up.

Here are some pics of the car I was talking about earlier. Runs 8's-9's, and he does have a chute installed.

It is a single turbo (he has had many different FI setups), and it dyno'd at 748/708 on 11 psi. I'm guessing by who he gave credit to for the kit, it is a CPR Turbo kit.

Boaisy,
That is sweet. Thank you for sharing the pics. I'm pretty sure my brother-in-law isn't going to go quite that far. Unfortunately. Now, that looks like a single turbo set up and the hellion. Do you know who's set up that is?

It is a CPR Single turbo kit. He has had many different FI setups on that car, and I think he sticking with this one. He tried procharger, twin turbo, and a few others before.

With just the one bolt on running 93 pump gas and a few basic suspension mods. Desperate need of a stall converter for better 60's if I decide to take it that far. Oh DA 1200-1300 that day.
