4r70w locking dipstick

Does anyone know of a locking dipstick that fits our cars well for 4r70w trans? I got dinged for that when going through tech last month..

What is the point of a locking dipstick... sounds like some stupid lib rule that some dipstick made up.

I dont know why you would need a "lock". Mine is hard enough to get out lol. Crazy rules..

I agree 100%!! the tech guy wouldn't even try to remove it though..

What is the point of a locking dipstick... sounds like some stupid lib rule that some dipstick made up.

It supposedly prevents tranny fluid from leaking out in the event of over heating the tranny and ending up under your tires resulting in nothing good.

Yeah but if the trans was overheating wouldnt fluid escape via the vent? I dont know lol. Sooo many rules its hard to keep track.

Nice little solution there!

I've never seen my Lokar dipstick raise up, but then, I have the trans vented through a catch-can and filter in the engine compartment.
