Yeah haven't gotten around to researching how to strip weight from steering column. Sparco steering wheel and quick release are in my future.

Sparco is good, but pricey. I bought all NRG stuff. Plenty good and half the price.
I bought the wheel, adapter and quick release from NRG for what it would cost just for the sparco steering wheel.

There are a bunch of different styles....pick what you like.

Awesome I'll pick em up today. How are your IATs with your kenne bell? I went with the DOB Tuner kit because of lower IATs then other kits. Largest HE I could find along with the highest flowing intercooler pump I could afford at the moment(2014 gt500 pump). Next jump was $500 for a higher flowing pump. Not in the budget just yet.

I'm on e85 and I have a big water tank in the trunk, so heat is a non issue.
I make a lot of these tanks, (in 2 sizes plus custom) mostly for drag racers but it's great for track use too.

That's true, if you don't need the horn functionality the adapter is way cheaper. Still over 400 bucks.
When I did mine it was still street legal and the horn kit was added to the cost.
That's a nice wheel, that's the one I wanted but they were going for over 300.00 at the time and the NRG setup with horn adapter was less than just the wheel so I went with that.

Yeah this is the setup that looks like the best bang for my buck. No I don't need a horn. I'm going to see if there is a aftermarket steering column that won't brake the bank out there as well.

I still drive mine on the street some but we do not have state inspections here. If you do then this set up wont work due to not only does it remove the horn it also removes the clock spring. The turn signals still work you just have to return the stalk by hand.
