TenSpeed translation - any grammatical errors are the fault of the OP, and I take no responsibility for the accuracy of this translation.

Hi people, on Saturday, the Dad of my friend across the street backed up and hit my 2010 Grabber Blue front bumper lightly. So I was nice and got four quotes, and now he says how about a 24 pack of beer and be fine. I said no, and that Ford wants $867, Car Star (shop?) $568, and the little shop down the road said $400 cash. I agree it's a few marks and chipped paint, but he hit it. I don't want to be that guy but I baby my car and it is a summer car only and now he says my dad is out of town for a few weeks and it's not my fault. - end Tenspeed translation of OP.

Now, holy fucking hell kid. Take a deep breath and remember to use sentences, punctuation, and for fucks sake, the forum will tell you if you spell something wrong.

What you should have done is file a police report for this. Now you are stuck in a bad position, and will be more than likely paying out of pocket to fix your car, and you will probably lose the friendship of this guy.

So you are a "I speak Moron Translation specialist? LOL!

I did the best with what I was given. OP has since deleted the original hot fucking mess that was posted, but luckily I managed to copy and paste that steaming pile of verbal diarrhea for the rest of us to marvel in wonder at.

I give you all the credit in the world for re-interpreting all that mess, as I couldn't understand a fucking word from the OP's original post that you copied..

Anyway here's to you

I gathered that he received four different quotes but there are only three amounts given. Maybe the beer offer is being counted as one, I dunno. It's a sticky situation because this is a friend's dad and he didn't want to get police & insurance involved. But at the least the dad should have owned up and paid up.

The last sentence in his OP is where he lost me. He made it sound like his own dad left town and I wondered wtf that has to do with the situation. But Tenspeed translated it to English.

After my lean session I've come to the conclusion that he initially accepted the 24 pack of beer offer, subsequently consumed all 24 cans in a single sitting, and went on to write that post. Now he regrets taking the lowest offer LOL

And thank you for the quote for posterity. OP's post was next to incomprehensible...

Powerstop Z26 or Carbotech AX6 is what I would get. Duralast GT from Autozone looks interesting as they are a carbon metallic and they might be worth a try for aggressive street/autox.

Like that would be a loss, if the friend speaks in the same way, it wouldn't exactly be what one would describe as a meeting of the minds.
