The frame is off to the sandblaster today. Almost time to switch gears from tear down to build up.

^^ you can see they started on the new shop build yesterday also.

Nice! That was pretty quick, looks like you can start on the hard stuff soon.

Yeah now it's time to do some real work.

Big order should be here by the end of the week.

So yesterday I pulled the old front straight axle off and started thinking through what my next step will be.

Step one weld in the box plates.

Can I ask how much that set you back? I have a '67 F100 I'm working on...

Just for the IFS with the upgrades I ordered (power rack, coil overs, few others) was a little less than $3,000.

Now with that said it was one of there more costly ones. They do have other options.

Just because you don't see it on there website doesn't mean they don't have something for you also. I'm guessing they haven't updated it. Just call them if your thinking about going down this path they are really easy to deal with. Ask for Steve in sales.

That seems reasonable to me for them to ask 3k for that

Yeah you get disk breaks, power rack, adjustable coil overs, tubular upper and lower control arms, 1" sway bar, Drop spindles, frame boxing plates made for my 1960, braided brake lines (they tossed in) and a custom one piece cross member. Not bad for just under $3,000.

Got the C notch cut and welded in yesterday and then I couldn't help myself so I stayed at it and bolted most everything up.

Looks to be a little bit lower than the old stock rear.

What are you doing on the rear suspension? Leaving it leaf spring or going coilover?
