Finally dyno'd the car

I finally got around to getting the car dyno'd.

It was on a Mustang Dyno, and the it put down 293 HP and 314 Ft/Lbs of Torque.

I didn't take the time to look around at anyone else's results. How do these numbers look? My mods are in my signature.

So, I just got an adjusted tune from BBR, and installed an offroad H-Pipe.

New numbers are 307 rwhp and 325 rwtq. Picked up 14 hp and 11 tq.

Does anyone know a good rule of thumb for horsepower to ET ratio. IE, how much horspower does it generally take to make up a tenth?

you can pull up one of the ET calculators online and input your RWHP and race weight and it will give you what you should be running ideally. Just put in 293whp first then put in 307whp second and subtract the difference. Thats what you are "supposed" to gain from the added HP.

On a side note, it all comes down to driving skills, weather conditions, ect.

When i had my 07 GT vert on the Mustang Dyno, i made 302 hp/299 tq, thats with HotRod cams, Delete plates & CAI and a cool day. What you dint make in HP you sure made up in Torque! Dyno sheet attached.

Well, I used one of those calculators. I just got the difference, and it was 2 tenths.

I sure hope that's even close to being true. I ran a 12.83 at 293 hp, so at 307, I should theoretically run a 12.63.

But like my dad always says... Cars love to make an ass out of you!

on a hot day, mustang dyno, I had 320/289.
