VMP'S EGOBOOST Project does the 1/2 mile.

Last weekend VMP PERFORMANCE sponsored WannaGoFast at Jumbolair in Ocala FL (John Travolta's place with a 7,000 ft runway to play on). We had our 2015 VMP Superchargers GT on hand along with our 2016 GT350 and of course, the little engine that could... The EgoBoost Project Mustang. Thanks to our partners at COBB Tuning and FFTEC, our Comp Orange 'stang rocketed it way past a TON of cars, from 5.0s to Camaros to Challengers and even a' Vette. It emptied a belly full of race gas and then got 30 mpg on the way home.

BJ, in this pic it looks like the hood is lifting. Are you planning on hood pins for it?

That...or install a pair of hood vents..to relieve under hood air pressure.

Yup, definitely lifting. It'll be interesting to see the GT350 at full tilt but it does have vents.

GT350 hood lifts as well. Just like the s197 and S550 (without the vents) after about 120 it starts to lift.

Man, that's awesome!

Although I don't think I could ever actually buy a non-V8 Mustang with my own money, these EB cars continue to impress and intrigue me.
