Hi, my name is Kevin & I come from Quebec, Canada. I'm drifting in the DMCC Series, in Canada. I'm also planning to make some XDC & SWD events in us this summer. I'm currently building a 05-09 biw Ford Mustang with a 2011 5.0 motor swap. This is my first Ford, in the past I have drift a 240sx SR20DET, a 240sx LS3 & a 350z LS3 stroke 416ci. Here some pics of my old car in action:

I receive my build TR3650 this week-end with my ACT twin plate clutch. We mount everything in place. Just waiting my driveshaft :)

I only missing a piece for the shifter, the little rod that goes from the shifter to the tranny. He doesn't come with the tranny & doesn't come with the short shifter & Ford only selling the complete shifter assembly, if some have this send me a PM.

Thanks

WOW! That's a sick build make sure to keep us updated. What are your plans for suspension and power besides just the 5.0?

Thanks for all the comments. For suspension I will run a set of coilover from Standard Suspension with Ground Control race camber/caster plate. For the rear I will run BMR suspension stuff.

For the motor setup, we will run a Vortech supercharged, with Ford Racing PCM + SCT Tuner.

More updated to come !

Roof fiberglass is for weight & to weld the cage on the top.
Quarter is for weight, easy fix & more flexible. In drifting we have to be close to wall & sometimes kissing it :)

We will have all parts in fiberglass except front & rear bumper & sideskirt. We are working on the door, hood, & front fender. The fender will be modify to fit a 2010+ front end with the 05-09 doors.

When the other side quarter panel will be ready I will weight the fiberglass one vs steel one to compare :p

My buddy is a body guy and says the fiberglass prolly weighs more than the factory panels...have you measured the difference in weight?

EDIT**** Saw what you posted about weighing the 2!!!!!!
