I wanted to take a minute and post up about an awesome customer service experience I had this week with MGW. I've been dealing with some transmission issues over the last couple months as well as a shop that did a fair amount of damage to my car due to a sloppy mechanic. One of the issues I found after they molested my car was a torn lower boot on my MGW shifter. I have no idea how they could have done that but it's not torn in a way that could be associated with normal wear, and the shifter is only a year old.
I ended up buying another used transmission and swapping it out myself, which is when I found this (along with a few other issues). I emailed MGW at about 10pm on Sunday night asking about how to buy another boot since I couldn't find any parts listings or prices on their website. I got a reply email from Julie promptly the next morning indicating that a replacement boot had already been mailed out. I got it 2 days later and it's already installed.
