Need help pulling longblock with tranny

Which hole were you using. The short bit on the bottom or the hole it's bent at?
I'd use that hole if possible, if not maybe cut off that short ear.

I used the short end exactly as seen in ILW84U's photo. Interestingly in his photo the hole position allowed the bracket to fit as is, while I had to dog-ear mine with a grinder.

My leveler from Harbor Freight doesn't have L brackets... I just ran a bolt through one of the chain links.

Sorry for the late followup.

I pulled it last Sunday!
On Saturday the brackets on the HF leveler bent bad as it was lifting, and the right side was tilting causing it to pinch the bolt for the mount. I dropped it back on the mounts and grabbed a Duralast leveler from Autozone, and again dog-eared the brackets for the back and got some large washers for all of them. It was a much better and solid setup. On Sunday it lifted nicely! My dad guided it out and lifted the tail of the tranny to clear the front frame.
