Rock Falls Raceway today. Obviously my first times down the track with this car. Been a while since I've driven a stick car at the track. No matter. Also they just repaved the track over the winter and it was GREASY until noon or so. Then it got a little better but by then the good morning DA was gone.

Lund E30 tune, Racestar 17x9.5 rear wheels with 295/45 M/T DR, Racestar 17x7 front wheels with 215/60s. NGK plugs gapped at .028. SR Lowering springs.

All else 100% factory stock. Full weight (except I removed the tire refiller thing). Premium package, Performance package, manual trans.

A little better today. :) Still just the Lund tune and wheels/tires. No weight removal. 1/2 tank of E30.
MAP intercooler/downpipe/intake going on this week. Then it will get turned up a little.

Glad to see you move over to Lund for tuning.

They've been great to work with so far.

Logs show only around 21psi boost after doing the math with the MAP PID. Very conservative, but Lund doesn't like to push things when the stock intercooler is still in place, which is fine.

Since my last post I switched to a MAPerformance intercooler, catless downpipe, and intake. Running the same tune though, Lund E30. Only 21lbs of boost and 7* of timing at the big end.

So close but no 12s yet! I think if I had been able to make a couple more passes yesterday I probably could have figured it out. Oh well.

I'll either leave it as-is and try again soon or switch to a Lund pump gas + Torco tune (their suggestion), as it's basically at the edge of running out of fuel on E30 as it is, so it shouldn't be turned up for safety's sake.
