I purchased a pair of side scoops for my car.. they are the ones on American Muscle that do not have any grills / inserts...

Wondering if anyone has made their own.. what material did you use, how did you attach it, etc...

Hoping someone knows someone or has done it themselves..

very easy to make your own grills for the side scoops, You'll need to make your pattern with masking tape, use a good grade of tape and plenty of layers, also when applying the tape put the layers on up and down and across, this will make the tape stay together for your pattern, for after you trace with a pencil or ink pen and pull the tape off it will leave a good pattern to put on the grill material you use. I made my own grills this same way, hope this helps..

i`m also interested in this as well. have xenon scoops on my 197, and would like to know where to buy or how to make those inserts. its a bit hart to measure the area, and i masked it off and painted with black (scoops are white), but would be cool to have something to slap in there.
