Congrats to Bill Eyler for his 10.89 pass yesterday at Cecil. We have been chipping away at it little by little this past year. Still has Brembo front brakes and a 4c converter. Drives it to and from track. Tuned by me.

Awesome. I'd love to hear details. Someday I'd love to run an n/a 10-sec pass. It seems like it's easy to get into the 11.30-11.40 range but it gets a lot harder after that.

I think the thing is a lot of guys put a supercharger on there, mabey some other trinkets and tires, then are like "yeah dude its fast". Which honestly is all well and good.

But to go fast N/A you have to work the whole car practically. More work, but you can end up going a lot faster than the boost guys who bolted on a SC and called it a day.

Thanks guys. Got a few mods to do over the Winter to improve suspension, looser converter, and some tune adjustments. Will be fun next Spring. :)

10's n/a is bad ass, congrats!

A local guy did it a couple years ago and it was impressive, but I'm not looking to be the first to do something or set any records so a blower was the best option for me and my goals lol.

Just got back in town this evening. Details on the car are:

4c converter
3.31 rear gear
Boss intake
Airaid PJ CAI
47lbs. injectors
Kooks 1 3/4" headers with O/R x-pipe
Pump e85
BMR rear suspension
Lowering springs
Viking double adjustable rear shocks
Strange single adjustable front struts
BMR k-member
MSD 2-step
2-relay trans brake

Planned changes:
Drag springs
ARB
Replace Brembos
Lightweight driver seat
Lightweight battery
5c converter

Planning to use stock intake and airbox for some testing as well.

He has BMR-SP009 Springs.

There is no benefit to going to a "drag" spring from those. But it would be sweet to see him do a Coilover eventually. ;)
