Last August I purchased a used MGW shifter from a member here and when it arrived, I was less than happy with it. It was pretty beat up, to say the least. It was also missing at least one fastener and the shift ball was cracked. I didn't want to attempt to install it due to the condition so in my closet it went and I forgot about it.
2 weeks ago I was looking for something in the closet and come across the shifter. I took a photo of everything and emailed it to MGW, asking them if they would look and see what was missing.
George personally replied to my email and said to send it to him and he would look it over. I sent it off to MGW and a few days later George himself called me. He completely rebuilt it and it looks brand new! I'm not sure he'd want me to say what he charged me but it wasn't a lot and I know it ended up costing his company more than what I paid him. Talk about standing behind your product.
Thanks George!
